                  Created in 2016 in Charleroi, the Papier Carbone festival comprising a fair and different events, aims to showcase artists, publishers and collectives working with the printed image and desk-top publishing. Cancelled for the second year running, Papier Carbone has become a summer festival and is now Été Carbone.

                  Responding to the BPS22 offer of a free rein, the Festival team decided to invite four collectives to the Museum’s stage. Each one employs and approaches the printed image from poetic, political, particular and/or quirky angles: a meeting between vibrant universes and a multitude of techniques.

                  Exhibiting collectives :

                  A partnership between the Papier Carbone festival, the BPS22 and Le Vecteur.

                  ÉTÉ CARBONE is also MAXI KIOSQUE, a huge library of self-published books and fanzines, on display at the V2 gallery at Vecteur, from 9 July to 21 August.
