Look at me! Images of women in contemporary artAperitif conferences

For different reasons, artists and art history have contributed to manufacturing certain, particularly conventional, images of women. This lecture attempts to understand the origin of these images and appraise the challenges to them by modern and contemporary artists; a perspective that finds an echo among current demands.
