Along with the animal kingdom, we’ve inherited a land that we struggle to share. But now we’re trying to invent other ways of inhabiting it. Can forests welcome all living beings, with their understandings, alliances and conflicts? Bivouacs, cabins and other temporary campsites often materialise close to trees, even when they don’t nestle among them directly. What do we really know about trees and plants? What can art tell us about their sentiments?
